Ashanti Shequoiya, also known for her stage name Ashanti was born on October 13, 1979 in Glen Cove New York United States. She is an American singer-songwriter and actor. Ashanti was a star when she was young teenagers, and she was eventually signed to Murder Inc. Records by 2002. Ashanti was featured in fat Joe's What's Luv? song that was released the following year.
